Titterstone Clee, Bitterley, Shropshire, England, SY8 3NY, United Kingdom
Titterstone Clee Hill is one of the highest points in Shropshire and is equally fascinating to geologists, historiand, bird lovers and orienteers alike. (photo credit: Charlie Leventon)
Although much of it is open rough moorland (mainly grass with areas of bracken, tussocks and marsh) it has been quarried and mined for millennia. The resulting features, combined with the relative absence of paths, offer a real orienteering challenge.
The area was last used in November 2019 – link to the Routegadget for that event.
