For specific details of the age classes and how they are mapped to the courses being provided on each day of SINS please refer to the Event Details page on this website.

When requesting start times please consider the course closing times on each day and how long you are likely to take on your course!

Day 1

Entry for Day 1, Shrewsbury Urban, which forms part of the UK Urban League is by the standard UKUL classes e.g. Veteran Men 40+, Supervet Men 55+, etc. See the Event Details page for further information.

Day 2

Day 2, Brown Clee, incorporates the Midland Area Championships and forms part of the UKOL.
The age classes/course combinations being provided are as recommended by BOF for a Major Championship.
To be eligible to win one of the Midlands Area Championship trophies you must be a member of British Orienteering, registered via one of the clubs which are part of the WMOA, EMOA or EAOA and enter your appropriate E/L/A Age Class. Competitors may run up a Class. This will then make them eligible for the Midland Area Championship in that class as long as they satisfy the other requirements given above.
To score UKOL points, you must be a member of British Orienteering and enter your appropriate E/L/A Age Class.
For competitors not wishing to compete in the Midland Area Championships or UKOL you may enter your Age Class Short course or one of the colour coded courses of your choice.

Day 3

Day 3, The Wrekin, Middle Distance, forms part of the UKOL.
The age classes/course combinations being provided are as suggested by BOF except that there will be two Blue courses and two Green courses to accommodate the large number of competitors expected.
If you wish to compete in the UKOL you must enter on the Fabian online entry system using your correct Age Class not the colour of the course.
For competitors not wishing to compete in the UKOL you may enter one of the colour coded courses of your choice.

Please note that there will be no entry to the Day 2 Midlands Area Championship courses after the closing date.

EOD for each of three days will be subject to map availability and available time slots.

SportIdent electronic punching will be used as usual but for the first time controls will be SIAC enabled for all three events.
Standard Dibber hire is £1 per day for Seniors and free for Juniors.
Lost Dibbers will be charged for at £40.
